The second painting of the triptych dealing with Latvian mythology is an interpretation based on descriptions and depictions of the Latvian goddess of fate, Laima, most influential being the work ‘Laimas Ienaksana’ by Hilda Vika, a Latvian artist and writer. Similarly as the artist, I represent the subject in three forms, representing the past, future and present. The reference for this painting was three analog photographs that I took in Latvia.
